Anson arrives at Omaka

At 5:00 pm on Monday, 29th October, the Reid family's magnificent Avro Anson touched down on Omaka's hallowed grass to begin her residence on the field. The rare old bomber will reside for now in the Marlborough Aero Club's huge old WW-II hangar although the intention is to eventually house her in the WW-II section of the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre for which fund-raiising continues.
